Sylvia Tong

Sylvia Tong is a co-founder of EntreConnect whose AI community work includes convening discussions about efficient on-device models and enterprise agents. In its agenda for AWS Startup Day SF 2026, AWS Events identifies her as Head of North America at MiniMax and schedules her to speak on September 28, 2026, about taking an AI company global in the agent era.[2][3][4]

Before that scheduled appearance, Tong’s public work included moderating and hosting AI events through EntreConnect. Her 2025 event introduction also described a background in enterprise SaaS and an intended venture in AI agents.[2][3]

Tong appeared in the listener segment of Latent Space’s March 9, 2024 anniversary episode. The publisher lists her segment at 01:27:47 under “Sylvia Tong (Sora/Jim Fan/EntreConnect).”[1]

For EntreConnect’s February 25, 2025 event in Palo Alto, Tong was listed as moderator alongside featured speakers Yubei Chen, an assistant professor at UC Davis and Aizip co-founder, and Brandon Xu of Analog Devices. The advertised discussion covered distillation, edge inference, and balancing performance, latency and reasoning on devices. EntreConnect, Tong and Hongyu Song were listed as hosts.[2]

Tong hosted “AI Agents — Beyond OpenAI Operator & Anthropic MCP” in New York on March 9, 2025. She framed the discussion around enterprise use cases, MCP, multi-agent frameworks, agent-to-agent ecosystems and future agent experiences. In the event introduction, she described herself as an enterprise SaaS veteran with years of hands-on enterprise technology experience and announced an intention to pursue an agent venture: “Strategic Investor -> Soon-to-start AI Agent Startup: embark on my next venture in AI agents”.[3]
