Brendan Falk

Founder of Hercules, an AI app builder for business, and former founder and CEO of Fig, acquired by AWS in 2023.

Brendan Falk is a founder of Hercules, which lets people build apps and websites by chatting with AI. He founded it with Grant, whom Hercules identifies alongside Falk as part of Fig’s founding team. Their product focuses on custom business software, including internal tools and customer-facing apps. Falk has also identified himself as founder and CEO of Zeus in an undated self-description.[3][4][2]

At Hercules, conversational app building is paired with built-in infrastructure for running the resulting software. A sales-team CRM illustrates the approach: the company’s demonstration shows creating contacts, accounts and opportunities, adding role-based access control, and publishing the app.[4]

Earlier career: Fig

Before Hercules, Falk was founder and CEO of Fig, which AWS acquired in 2023. This earlier company supplies the shared career context for Hercules’s founders: Hercules describes Brendan and Grant as Fig’s founding team. Falk studied economics and computer science at Harvard; originally from Australia, he lives in San Francisco.[2][3]
