AI Engineer Speaker Applications Close This Weekend (for AIE SF, Jun 3-5)
Launching the official AIE MCP and calling the best AI Engineers in the world!
Thanks to your support, the 2024 World’s Fair was a big success, and AIE Summit in NYC has surprisingly seen ~3x more in online impact than that despite the selectively small in-person numbers, with almost 80k people tuning in to our *livestream* alone.
Spots on the AIE Expo are selling out really quickly and we’re now looking at about 3,000 AI Engineers joining us in person this June (with up to 100x more online).

We’ve already had hundreds of people apply to speak, but as the curation team, we want to seek out the best AI Engineers in the world (no prior speaking exp required, no famous corp required, just good ideas, demos, and real life experience that might be useful to your fellow AIEs) and ensure a sufficient diversity of thought and content.
PLEASE ALSO SEND THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO APPLY!
Lots of people have seen our Call for Speakers (aka CFP) via the AIE newsletter, but many have either been putting it off and/or missed the announcement, so we’re making a dedicated call for speakers here. You can read the CFP for our prompts on the things we are seeking, but submit the best talk ideas you have anyway and we’ll find a stage for it if the team likes it enough - e.g. our online track on YouTube. Speakers get free tix + flights + accom (for out-of-towners - with a sponsorship in lieu if company covers!) All nonaccepted, nontrivial submissions get discounted tickets as a show of appreciation.
Early Statistics
Some tracks have been unexpectedly competitive, and others uncompetitive. You should take note accordingly when shaping a talk/SHARING IT WITH A FRIEND :)
Announcing the AI Engineer MCP/llms.txt
We of course have an llms.txt, but, as the first conference with a dedicated MCP track, we’ll not only have Anthropic’s MCP team presenting a State of the Union, but also had to create our own open source MCP server! Try it now!
Add this server: https://ai-engineer-wf-2025.swyx-5de.workers.dev/sse
And then chat with our conference and submit your talk proposal right from within Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, or your MCP client of choice :)
Important note: submissions here will all be considered for acceptance, but speakers with accepted talks from the MCP process will need to fill out Sessionize anyway to complete their acceptance when we notify you via email. Sorry, we know this is suboptimal, but Sessionize doesn’t have a write API and we need a single source of truth.
ok enough yapping. Please submit your talks by this weekend, and tell your best/shy AI engineer friends!
Bonus: State of AI Engineering Survey
Barr from Amplify and the massively popular Frontier Feud is running the 2025 State of AI Engineering Survey!
Take the survey for the Amazon gift card raffle and to have your voice heard in AIE!
